These 3D dies from XCut are great fun and add a whole new dimension to your Christmas crafting.

XCut Christmas Wreath

This has been made using the new XCut Wreath Die Set.

There are lots of components to this one and is is great to build up the layers as much, or as little as you like.  I've used sticky foam pads to make it quicker but you could use Pinflair Glue Gel to really make the most of the shaping of the decorations.

XCut Christmas Decorations...

XCut have brought out some great new dies to make your very own Christmas decorations.

These are best cut out of cardstock, and stick them as you go.  I made the mistake of trying to put them together without any glue and just as I got near to the end, it all fell apart!!  I won't repeat what I said!!! Both these decorations have been made using the XCut Christmas Decoration die which retails at £12.99, but is available from Crafty Devils at ONLY £9.99.  There is a third decoration that can be made from this set too so it is really good value for money.  Looks great made out of glitter card, but how about using last years Christmas cards for a really 'up-cycled' Christmas!

The Hobby House - Bluebell Wood

Here is another cute card from The Hobby House, this time it's been taken from the Bluebell Wood set of toppers.

Co-ordinating flowers to use with this set are Mulberry Flowers Summertime Large and Mulberry Flowers Summertime.  The wings have also been 'blinged' with some ultra fine glitter to make it look even more magical!

The Hobby House - Silver Fairy

This beautiful card has been made using one of the pre-coloured and pre-cut toppers from The Hobby House - Silver Fairy.  These toppers are so cute and they always look good, and are a quick way to add a central focus to your cards.

This topper fits perfectly in the largest rectangle in the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scalloped Rectangles Large die set for some pretty matting and layering!

New Tonic Butterfly Dies

Here are some lovely cards made by Ruth, using the New Butterfly Dies from Tonic.

This card has used the Tonic Studios Butterfly Die 1 - Rosea with some added dimension to the flowers using the Peruvian Lily, Primrose and Corncockle Punch and Stamp Set.

This card uses the Tonic Studios Butterfly Die 1 - Flava, plus the Tonic Simplicity Geared Butterfly Strip Punch and the Tonic Studios Multi Detail Butterfly Punch.

This card uses the Tonic Studios Butterfly Die 1 - Flava, plus the small flowers have been made using the Tonic Studios Mini Boot Punch Flower Head. 

As you'll agree, these are three great ideas to get you started with your Butterfly Dies.

Gorjuss - Pretend Friends

It's two for the price of one today!!  Both of these cards have been made by Colette, using the Gorjuss A4 Decoupage - 'The Pretend Friend'.  I think you will agree, they really are gorgeous!!!

Products used - 6x6 Cream Scalloped Card Blank, Gorjuss A4 Decoupage Pack - The Pretend Friend, Gorjuss Patterned Craft Tape, Gorjuss Large Buttons, and Gorjuss Ribbon.

Products used - Gorjuss A4 Decoupage Pack - The Pretend Friend (ribbon, image, fancy edge shape and heart are all recycled from the packaging), Gorjuss Patterned Craft Tape, Gorjuss Large Buttons, Tonic Geared Punch - Doily Border and Tonic Regular Boot Punch - Daisy.

The rosette has been made by cutting a strip of black card, and edging it with the Tonic Geared Punch - Doily Border and then folding it and shaping it in to the rosette.

This is another adorable card made by Colette, using the latest Forever Friends Kraft Notes collection.  This little teddy bear has really stood the test of time and continues to increase in popularity.

I love how Colette's cards are all so different.  There are rarely any that are just 'square' cards and her ideas are great!!

All Aboard - Best Places To See

This is the first of Colette's cards using the new Papermania All Aboard collection.  This is a great collection for documenting your travels, and it includes a scrapbook journal, die-cut postcards, travel labels, luggage tag dies and lots more.

Products used - Kraft Square Card Blanks, Papermania All Aboard Bookmarks, All Aboard 6x6 Paper Pack, All Aboard Page Tabs, All Aboard Ribbon Clips, XCut Nesting Die - Circle and a strip of acetate.

Colette has cut a circle in the middle of the front of the card, and folded it back on itself.  Then, she has put a strip of acetate from top to bottom, and has stuck the aeroplane bookmark to the acetate to make it look like it is flying. How cool!

This is another of Colette's cards that I want to try!  I can see I'm going to be busy!!!

Gorjuss Swinger

I really love this card - it is such a clever idea.  Colette has really thought 'out of the box' for this one!  She has been a true crafter, and even used the packaging to create this really original card - no room for waste!!
