Heartwarmers - Father

The Hobby House - Cupcake Girls

Here is another of Colette's great ideas for a card with a twist!!  You need to look at the second picture to see it more clearly, where you can see that the centre circle is actually hanging in the aperture.  Also, the lacy edging has been made using the Tonic Studios Simplicity Geared Dotty Border Punch.  Great ideas that we can all have a go at!!

Products used - Kraft Cardstock, Pearlescent Paper, The Hobby House Die Cut Toppers - Cupcake Girls, Wild Rose Studio Gorgeous Gingham Paper Pack, Wild Rose Studio Annabelle's Meadow Paper Pack, Tonic Simplicity Geared Dotty Border Punch, Papermania Capsule Collection Mini Buttons - Parkstone Pink and White Satin Ribbon.

To create the paper lace punch out as many strips of paper as needed to go around the shape.  Score between each scallop, apply wet glue or narrow tape around the shape and then stick paper lace into place, gently manipulating the paper around the curves, and using the scored lines to help.

The Hobby House - Sweet Blossom

I simply adore this card that Colette has made using the Sweet Blossom topper images from The Hobby House.  It's so good to see the different ideas that people have and to then add your own twist to it. The  snow globe layout is so effective, and you could add any combination of flowers, butterflies or embellishment of your choice.

Products used - Pearlescent cardstock - Ivory, Pearlescent cardstock - raspberry, Hobby House Sweet Blossom Die Cut Topper, Wild Rose Studios Annabelle's Meadow Paper Pack, Papermania Vintage Notes Lace Borders, Spellbinders Rose Creations Die, Tonic Studios Mini Boot Punch - Flower Head and some Assorted adhesive gems.

The butterfly has very cleverly been made with the Rose Creations Die - Colette has just cut away one of the petals, and made the body with crystals.  Ingenious!

The Hobby House - Wee Bunnies

As promised, here is another of Colette's great cards using the cute toppers from The Hobby House.  This set is called 'Wee Bunnies' and looks adorable in this circular easel card.  The sentiment is a Papermania Heartwarmer and is taken from the Mum set, so this card would be great for a mothers day card (10th March - quite early this year!!), or an Easter card.

The Hobby House - Peggy and Friends

Here is the first of a set of cards made by Colette using the beautiful toppers from The Hobby House.  For those of you that enjoy using a stamped image but perhaps don't like colouring, don't have time to colour or just don't feel confident in doing it, then these toppers are a perfect option for you.  They are coloured beautifully and still give that hand made appearance to your cards or projects. Vintage Notes 6x6 Card Kit

This card has been made using the Vintage Notes 6x6 Decoupage Card Kit.  This kit contains 1 printed card, 1 expandable envelope plus 4 die-cut sheets.  There are enough die-cuts to embellish the one printed card, plus leaving you with lots of left overs to embellish other projects.

Here is our daily update from Colette, featuring more great ideas using the Vintage Notes collection.  This is a really great card as, not only does it look stunning, it is also quite handy for using up scraps from your stash!!  The decorative edge has been made using the Tonic Studios Simplicity Geared Pattern Punch - Dotty Border, and the card blank has been made using Mink Pearlescent cardstock.

Vintage Notes Rosette

Here is the second of Colettes beautiful Vintage Notes cards.  Colette has created the rosette by hand, using a Tonic Geared Punch - Victorian Border, and scoring and folding at regular intervals.  Quite time consuming, but also very effective!

Me To You Card 2

As promised, here is another card from Craft Devils Design Team Member Colette, using the wonderful Me to You With Love Collection.  This card uses one of the decoupage packs, so the little Teddy has got a really round tummy, and looks very cuddly!

Me To You Card 1

This is the very first card from our new Design Team Member Colette. Colette runs one of the best Craft Blog Sites online and creates some absolutely stunning cards. View her blog at www.digiredoodah.blogspot.com. This wonderful Valentines Day has been designed using the Me to you With Love Collection. The decorative edge is cut with the Tonic Studios Simplicity Geared Daisy Border Punch. These punches will cut through even thick cardstock with ease, making them perfect for anybody with a dexterity problem.  It's a beautiful Easel Card and I'm sure any Valentine would be very pleased to receive this!
